About Write Time
Women's Journaling Circle
A gentle space for women over 50 to reconnect with themselves through journaling, creativity, and community.
Write Time Women's Journaling Circle is a gentle, welcoming space for women over 50 who want to reconnect with themselves through meaningful journaling, creativity, and community. This is a place where you can slow down, breathe, and listen to the parts of your life that deserve more attention, compassion, and celebration.
I created Write Time Women's Journaling Circle because I believe every woman carries stories worth honouring; stories of resilience, transition, joy, loss, reinvention, and quiet strength. Journaling gives us a way to explore those stories with honesty and softness, one word at a time.
Through thoughtful weekly reflections, guided journaling prompts, and gentle community conversation, Write Time Women's Journaling Circle offers women a place to slow down and explore those stories at their own pace.
As women, we spend so much of our lives caring for others, meeting expectations, and moving through seasons of change. It’s easy to lose touch with our inner voice, the one that knows what we need, what we feel, and what we’re becoming.
Write Time Women's Journaling Circle was designed to offer:
-
A calm, supportive place to reflect
-
Gentle guidance that meets you where you are
-
Creative practices that spark curiosity and joy
-
A community of women who understand the journey
-
Space to grow, heal, and reconnect with yourself
This is not a high‑pressure productivity space. It’s a circle of women choosing presence, creativity, and self‑kindness.

Why Write Time Women's Journaling Circle Exists
About Me

I’m Tanya Hammond — writer, journalist, columnist and founder of Write Time and Write Time Women's Journaling Circle.
I’ve spent years exploring journaling to support my emotional well‑being, clarity, and resilience. Now I want to help you do the same. My work is rooted in compassion, creativity, and the belief that every woman deserves time to reflect and reconnect with herself.
As a writer and journalist, I believe words have the power to help us understand ourselves more deeply. Through The Monday Letter and the Write Time Women's Journaling community, I share reflections, journaling prompts, and gentle encouragement designed to help women reconnect with their own wisdom, one word at a time.
I’m passionate about creating spaces that feel safe, encouraging and non-judgmental. Spaces where women can show up exactly as they are; no perfection, no pressure, just honest connection and gentle growth.
