The Mural September 2020 Issue
For my Living in Leeds County column I pay a visit to Crosby Market (pg4). Test your knowledge with some Lyndhurst Turkey Fair Trivia on pg 6. I have some fun with my Family Fun and Entertainment article by visiting Berry Homestead Farm and their cute donkeys (pg 9). Check out the scarecrows on page 11 and the kids fishing derby on page 12. If you are wondering what Alpaca Yoga is all about be sure to take a look at page 15.
The Mural August 2020 Issue
Check out my first Living in Leeds County Column on page 3. Read my Farm 911 article on page 7 and learn why 911 signs are important for more than just dwellings. Local libraries connect with the community with their outdoor story walks highlighted on page 10.

With events all cancelled due to the global pandemic I found myself with fewer things to cover. I share an article about my life as a writer during COVID-19 on page 13. With lots of time at home it provides time to keep fit. Chec out pg 7 and 15 for some fitness talk.

Enjoy the feature gardening articles including a helpful companion planting piece on page 14. I was blessed to also share a birth story on page 7 and of course I included a small business update on page 5.
The Mural April 2020
This issue covers some great events just before COVID-19 pandemic hit and it also includes some relevant pandemic topics and helpful information on page 9. It's all business on page 10 with talk of the new business support group. On page 11 you will see the lovely international women's day event I was able to attend and on page 13 I share my take on The Dog Guy. Always an advocate for mental health I share an article regarding Children's Mental Health on page 13. Check out local heroes on pg15.
The Mural March 4th 2020
This issue is jam packed with interesting articles. With informative articles on human trafficking awareness on page 9 and elder abuse education on page 15 to a mental health article on page 15. On the fun side of things I shared some fun ice fishing stories and pictures on page 16 and wrote an article on local staycation destinations on page 13. On page 10 & 11 enjoy learning about local wedding venues and wedding options if that sounds like something interesting to you.
The Mural January 29, 2020 Issue
January 29, 2020 Issue of The Mural contains a Farm 2 Fork event pictured on the cover along with an update on the Lyndhurst Seeley's Bay and District Chamber of Commerce on page 7 and Part 1 in a series of three discussing mental health issues on page 10. There is also coverage about those in the Lyndhurst area rallying to save a local church and on page 12 Rideau Lakes new Business Network gets a mention. Finally there is a helpful article on finance on page 14.
The Mural Dec. 18, 2019 Issue
The second December issue of The Mural covers a visit from St. Nick on pg 3 and the announcement of Rideau Lakes new business Network on pg 4. Read about my fun day at the Shop & Hop on pg 5 and there is a gentle reminder to be kind this holiday season on page 7.
